Pretty much incredible

Incredible construction. The materials and hardware are premium as you would expect from a bag at this price point. I am not sure what think of the clear pocket yet. I do not hate it, but do not have a clear (unintended pun) use for it yet. Also, the pocketing on the front is a little tight. But perhaps if they were provided extra dimension, it'd hurt the aesthetics a little bit? Hard to say. Regardless, such a beautiful bag that I am only scratching the surface of as I write this. Looking forward to putting it through the paces more.

Conceal Tote > Helmet Bag

I've been hunting for a Brown Buffalo "Helmet Bag" for years. When Doug announced the "Conceal Tote" with upgrades that I would have added myself (like the fidlock), I knew that the time had come to secure mine.
I chose the ultra grid exterior. I use the sholder strap about 99% of the time and have tucked in the backpack straps and shorter handles.
I use this tote as my daily at work. As a teacher, I carry a backpack to and from my school, but pack out what I need for the day into the conceal tote. It generally holds my laptop, notebook burrito with pens and such, a porterpen case as a snack pouch, portable battery and wires, and my water bottle. At the end of the day, I move my things back to my backpack, put my tote back in the awesome dust bag that it came with, and leave it in the closet for the next day.

Finally received this beauty! A very well made bag of quality and durability. Love the design and organization features. The 3 way carry is a definite plus.

The most exceptional bag I've owned.

Some context: I'm a Brown Buffalo fan. I've been in love since I got my 19L black camo Conceal in 2018. Since then, I've picked up the OG Conceal Sling, the 70L "Duffalo", and two other 21L Conceals. I just appreciate the thoughtfulness, the material use, and the empathy that radiates from every thread of these pieces.

Enter the Conceal Tote, a bag I nearly dismissed because it was "a tote". I've never enjoyed them. Struggled with find practical applications for them. Load balancing, capacity, and inappropriate material choices always seemed to be deal breakers. But, because this is The Brown Buffalo, I looked a little more carefully. And I'm glad I did.

This bag (Ultra Black Grid version) is lightweight, but incredibly sturdy, with fantastic organization. The organization is critical because it compliments the versatility of the carry options, allowing you to pack and adapt to your day in ways that no other bag can.

For example, a trip to the record store may result in a new stack of records, so deploying the backpack straps makes for a comfortable carry. If the weather is nice, you may stop off at the bakery on the way home to pick up some oversized loaves of bread; maybe some cheese and spreads for a picnic. You can comfortably open the bag's top zipper, swing it over your shoulder with the detachable strap, and let your oversized items stick out the top while your records are still cradled gently. You may have your dog with you, and his water bottle can be stowed in the side holder with another available for a beverage of your choice on the other side.

It's not like I *like* to fuss with my bags. But this bag makes living with it *less* fussy and more comfortable. I'm just starting out, but I know I've got a lot of use ahead with it!

Thanks for making what could have been an unremarkable "tote" into something so pleasurable to use.
