I bought this as a gift for my wife

I bought this as a gift for my wife. She absolutely loves it! Size, function, fit, build/material quality… this bag was hard to pass up. Extremely please with this purchase.

This bag is incredibly cool

This bag is incredibly cool. Im a bit of s bag freak, and this crosses a lot T's and dots all the i's. The cordura is heavy and holds its form. Lots more pockets than is obvious drink the photos. The website photos don't do it justice and don't really clearly represent the quality, thoughtfulness, and organizational capacity of this bag.

The one thing I don't understand is the drawn string around the perimeter of the top of the main compartment. I' m not clear what form function this element answers.

One of the most expensive bags I've ever purchased. I was pretty sure I was going think it wasn't worth it, and now I'm very happy I have it.

Also customer service is great. There was a shipping misunderstanding and they took responsibility for the bag not getting there when I expected it

If anyone is building a better bag…

If anyone is building a better bag, I haven't heard of them. Every detail has been carefully thought out and expertly completed. The interior is set to allow the best use of the main space while keeping your essentials in place and the large exterior pocket is a great all purpose spot for easy to grab items. My favorite detail is the cover included. When traveling by air, I always bring a pillow case or some other item to place my carry-on in when placing it on the floor in front of my seat. Now, I have a cover that's tailor made and keeps my bag free of airplane floor crud. A little thing that means a lot.
